The biggest fishing tournament in Norway. Deep traditions, simple rules, always a good mood, always Jaktia Jessheim prizes, live broadcast. Only 100 open spots for registration. This year we will try to arrange a place for overnight stay for participants coming from further away (more detailed information will be provided soon).
More detailed info regarding parking, boat check, etc. will be provided no later than 10 days before the tournament.
HISTORY
"Abbor NM" originally was launched many years ago. Since day one it kept the title being the largest and most respected perch fishing tournament in Norway. 100+ boats, professional and hobby anglers, knowledge sharing and adrenaline - this is Abbor NM!
Jaktia Jessheim team has been putting all efforts to raise the value of this competition and deliver to all perch fishing lovers, this wonderful 1-day tournament.
Both Jaktia & NSFL are very proud to announce that it is now time, to bring "Abbor NM" into another level.
Starting in 2023 Abbor NM became the most prestigious perch fishing title in Norway.
Basics:

Slightly more strict rules which will bring more clarity and professionalism to this competition. New rules should bring more motivation to compete in this competition.

For public who will follow the competition in home, "Abbor NM" portal will allow you to follow your favorite team.

In addition you will be able to track each individual team, see their livewells, lures they are fishing on.

ABOUT NSFL CLASSIC PIKE COMPETITION
After hearing out communities opinions in regards of registration of the one-man team, NSFL came to decision: in all competitions of the 2024 season with the exception of the TroutNM boat category, it will be possible to register a team of one person. An individual who registers as a one-man team accepts the rules, understands and assesses the risks of losing to a two-man team and forfeits appeal rights if it is not a breach of NSFL rules.
NSFL tournaments are based on mutual respect, trust and the rule of "fair play", so we do not assume 100% control in this case.Partial control (one or two boats) will be on the lake during the entire tournament. All tournament participants have the right to file a complaint if they notice a violation of the rules.

ABOUT NSFL TROUT NM

TroutNM is a trout fishing tournament, a joint project of NSFL and Jaktia Jessheim and DUO Norge, with the aim of attracting and expanding trout fishing competitions using the spinning method. Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa, is famous for its trout resources, so it is likely that the competition will become traditional and the biggest, knowing that the trout fishing is nr.1 fishing type in Norway.
Three separate categories, satisfying everyone's needs
1. Boat fishing * team of two people
2. Kayak fishing* one person
3. Shore fishing *one person
Trolling fishing is not allowed. Fly fishing is not allowed. Only artificial baits, wobblers, silicone baits.
NSFL undertakes to provide measuring rulers, a specially created video for the care and release of the caught fish , good mood, live broadcast and prizes to the participants of the competition.
METER+
ABOUT NSFL METER+
Meter+, one of the most difficult classic trophy pike competitions. This is where experience, courage, quick reaction, knowing how to use electronics, knowledge of the water body and the X factor meet. When the outdoor temperature approaches zero and cold wind raises the waves of the lake, Norway's best predator hunters gather in the hope of catching three Meter+ pike.
We accept all your uploaded fish, however we give priority/approve only to 100cm or above uploads. We only approve uploads under 100cm in case we missing meter fishes overall.
Only artificial baits, trolling fishing is not allowed.
